    Chino vs Amazon question

Hi, new to this tremendously informative forum. Before I make a purchase, can someone verify that this watch GS-1100BR-1AJF at the Chino site:

    http://c-watch.co.jp/ww/gs1100br.html

is the same as this one for $50 less on Amazon?

    http://www.amazon.com/Casio-G-Shock-...pd_sbs_watch_3

I have also heard some iffy experiences with jomashop that is selling this watch through Amazon.

    Thanks!

One watch - I recently got a very similar GS1100 off ebay brand new for £100. That's about $150. The vendor was selling four in one go. I have also seen them for around £130ish from powersellers.

It's a BRILLIANT watch but take care setting it up (see the GS1100 guide I put up) - the manual is technically correct but all in the wronf order!

    Welcome to the forum!
Re Jomashop - If I were you, I'd spend my money elsewhere. Other places maybe a little more expensive but it's worth that extra bit to avoid the potential hassle that can, and does, occur with Jomashop. Just my 2 cents worth.

    Welcome to the forum

I like amazon but only get if its offered through amazon direct. I have not used there partners as they have different return policies. Amazon direct's return policy is very good

If you click the "used & new" link on the right, there are other 3 sellers offering that watch through Amazon at the same price as JomaShop (give or take 1 or 2 dollars). Personally I never had any problems with JomaShop, but others have. If you prefer the added security, Amazon itself has the watch on for sale, but it's around $30 more. By the way, JomaShop, as well as many other sellers that sell through Amazon, also have their own websites and sometimes it is a little bit cheaper to order directly from them.

Is there a restocking fee for (Casio) watches with Amazon?

The return policy for Casio watches sold by Amazon (and not a third-party seller that uses Amazon's web site) is the same one that applies to any other item sold by Amazon:

    Re: Chino vs Amazon question

I'd prefer to buy through Amazon personally. So far, my experience with Third Party sellers through Amazon has also been very positive thus far.

    Re: Chino vs Amazon question

Why is everyone responding in regards to Jomashop.com when the question was asked about Chino?

I have made several purchases from Chino and can't be more pleased.
Most of what I order from Chino opposed to Amazon is models that are JDM (Japanese Domestic model)
