Circa 1980's Casio Marlin and Strap Suggestions

The other day I was rummaging through my old desk drawers in my parents house and I found my old Casio Marlin watch from when I was a kid. I got the watch in1985, i think. The bezel is black plastic. I was able to replace the battery andto my suprise the watch still works. The watch is not in the best of condition because one day when I was playing hand ball in the 6th grade, I fell and scratched up the crystal and the bezel. The oem resin strap is now long gone and I would like to get some suggestions on what kind of straps to replace it with. I am leaning towards some sort of nylon strap. I will post some pics of it later tonight when I get home. Thanks.

I'm wearing my EFD-1000 on a Maratac Zulu strap - a Nato would work, too of course - IMO there's nothing more comfy than a nylon strap on a watch - especially in summer:

I have seen a lot of these style watches on simple black 18mm nylon straps. That would be easy.

Or, if you could get it on one, a velcro nylon strap would look great. But it could be more difficult with the tight fit on older models.

Can you be specific on which Marlin model you have? If it's a 20mm version you can use the CA-43 resin strap that fits great and is easy to find.
