    Cloth Band for GW6900?

Hey guys, I am looking for a black cloth band for my GW6900. After wearing my mudman's dual clasp and other cloth band watches the comfort of the GW6900s resin band is kind of lacking to me. Is there anything out there available? Anything from cloth/velcro, or cloth/resin would be nice. Thanks for any help. All I could find were these http://www.tiktox.com/plain-shock-ba...fer-p-1127.php at tiktox. :thanks

There are different options for your upgrade:

    1. using the strap adapters from the DW-5600E/6900 and a 23/24mm nylon strap form casio or third party

    2. one of the casio leather or nylon straps for use with 16mm lugs like this one:

    Here's what I did:

The Adapters you can get here:
    http://www.countycomm.com/adapter.htm

The band is off the G2300B:

Plus compasses fit perfectly on the strap. The strap actually looks like it was made for the GW6900. Here's a pic with the compass:

    Cheers!

I'm reading the adapters don't fit the GW6900 or the GW5600j, but do fit the DW6900 and DW5600.

    Is this correct?

Not in the case of the GW-6900. The photo above shows one with an adapter fitted.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Mhhh, I see the photo but even so I am unsure.
5600 resin straps and adapters fits easy on the DW-6900 but the GW-6900 case/bezel is IMHO different. Perhaps would swapping be easier if you use slightly thinner spring bars

almost bought the adapter/zulu setup today too. i'll be anxious to see if anyone has used the dw adapter for their gw. it looks like the picture above is a gw with adapters, am i wrong about this?

It is in fact the DW adapters. The case of the GW is thinner than the DW but the lugs seem unchanged. I was able to also put the DW6900 strap on the GW as well. Hope this helps.

Lightbulb Re: Cloth Band for GW6900?

Almost forgot...it would be nice to have a smallish springbar tool to put the adapter on as there is not a whole lot of room to work. Although it doesn't go on any harder than any other DW adapter.

Edit: If no one is comfortable with putting the standard DW adapters, the original G2300 style adapters work also. They actually have a little play at the lugs as opposed to the DW that fits precisely. The DW adapters were always a little (very slightly) tight fit even on their original watch. (For me, anyway)
