Exclamation Colour fading needle on PRG60

hi, hvn't been on the forum for a while! and I hv to register again.
This morning when I pick up my protrek from the table, which had been sitting there patiently for a long while, I found that the orange needle is a bit faded. I compared it to the ad on the magazine, and it is, faded.

I want to make sure this is not my illusion. is there anyone that can post a pic to compare with? :-S
I am worrying what may cause this. I had never put it under the sun for a long period.

Hi, I have found this picture off of ebay that you can use to compare with your watch.
    Hope this helps.

Red colored objects are known to fade under direct sunlight (photo's, car paints, etc). I noticed that red paints used on G-Shock's are very color proof. Since you also haven't exposed your watch to sunlight and looking to the picture of G24T, I think the tone of the hour hand is just a differen shade of orange.

    Cheers,

Relax, your watch looks cool ! Normally I hate watches with hands but that one looks nice. Like Sjors says, red colours are terrible for fading, my last red car went pink in the sun.

    best regards, Carrot (Dave)

I think it looks cool now with that faded orange look. I have a Seiko SKX009K with that Pepsi bezel and it is faded into a light blue/pink look :(
