Confused Contemplating my next G purchase, what do you think? (G9000-3V)

Alright, after purchasing 3 new ones in the last month and telling myself I wouldn't buy another, guess what? I want another What I'd really like to do is buy a G9000-3V and stealth out the bezel with some RIT dye. I previously had a G9000MS-1 and loved it, it just wasn't really what I wanted at the time but now I want another Muddie So here's my questions to you fellow G-shockers:

I've never RIT dyed before, I've read the instructions and they seem simple, but is it really permanent? Or would it just be easier/cheaper to replace the bezel and strap with a G9000MS-1, if so where would I get the parts?

Also, who can comment to the visibility of this watch? Currently I have a GW7900B-1 and I also had a G9000MS-1 like I stated earlier and I thought the visibility on those was just fine, how does it compare to those?

My final question, does anyone have pictures of the G9000-3V either stealthed or not?

    Patience young Padawan, patience

The dyeing process with rit is permanent, I've done it myself to an G-9000-3V. It's really easy and certainly cheaper than to buy another bezel. All you need is an old kettle and one hour of your time. I find the legibilty of the G-9000-3V rather poor, especially if you have ever seen what a negative display can look like, with the G-7710 or G-7800B. Because of that and the hard to push buttons, I don't wear mine anymore.

However, if the legibilty of the G-9000MS was just fine for you, you will be 100% satiesfied with the legibilty of the G-9000-3V because the redish MS digitis are the hardest to read of them all - no doubt about that. Here is an older picture of mine, next to one of my favorites:

I'll have to buy another kettle as well as there are none I'm willing to ruin God I love this watch, I remember when I had my G9000MS-1, it's a solid module and case.

I got the RIT from ebay.co.uk since it is not available in Germany. If I remember correctly, I paid 3 or 4 Euro for it. If you are in the US, you should be able to find RIT almost anywhere.

Cool, thanks for the info I'll probably put some of my next paycheck towards one of these.

On a side note, how much RIT did you use and for how long? I'm slightly nervous because I've seen some botched dye jobs out there..

I used all in 2 liters of water and stirred the "soup" for about half an hour. You can't do any wrong with black dying, just make sure the water is not boiling (80-90° celsius is perfect).
