Could this rip off G-Shocks any more without calling itself one

Wife just came across this whilst looking through the online catalogue for next and said "look they've got G-Shocks"

At least it's knock-off and not a fake. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. Duplication is the lowest form of laziness.

I must say, I could see Casio making a G-Shock like that; though I wouldn't buy it anyway :)

Like the low-key colour scheme (I mean I like the absence of coloured writing anywhere), though if I had one I'd be tempted to go the whole hog, i.e. whip out the module and dunk everything else in some black RIT dye.

Actually, they did a pretty good job on the design from an aesthetics point of view. I'd doubt that the build quality would come close to an authentic G-Shock, but sometimes a knock-off can surprise you.

The "EL" on the light button is amusing. It would've been hilarious if "G-Shock" was imprinted below the button, on the lower bezel. "EL G-SHOCK", marketed to the Hispanic community.
