Could you be the one to solve this?

    Here is a good challenge:
I have a Casio MTG1000G-9A analog watch, module 5022. The stopwatch hand is at rest at about the 59 minute mark.
As the stopwatch hand performs many functions, e.g. home city, I need to get it back to the correct 12 o'clock position. The hand does move but always resets to the 59 minute mark.
Is there a function I can perform to reset the hand to its rightful place? I don’t know how long the watch has been out of whack as I have other G Shocks that have to be worn too.

Sounds like the home position for your stopwatch second hand is off; you'll need to adjust it back to the 12 o'clock position...

You can refer to the manual on page 4 'adjusting the home positions':

    http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_man.../en/qw5022.pdf

Seems like the same drill as my Giez GS-1100, you need to press and hold the top left button (A), then press and hold bottom left (C) for a few seconds, then once it beeps, you can then adjust the big second hand back to the 12 o'clock position using the top right button (B)...be weary of the bottom right button (D), that changes the small second hand. Anyway, the correct position for both is the 12 o'clock!

    Hope that helps :)

Yeah, Sengyoku is right. When I first got my GA-100, the home position for the analog hands were off. Once I adjusted it, it has had no problems ever since.

The pleasure is mine, "Ye who seek knowledge at Ye olde G-Shock Forum shall be enlightened!"

Now go and enjoy that MT-G! (Statutory pics apply) :)
