    A couple more flea-market finds...

A DW-9000 G-Lide, much like the one Dragonjade recently purchased:

the pull-thru strap was in transaprent/crayon green, rather than the transparent/gray on Dragonjade's. In the pic I'd it refitted with a grey resin strap. The watch is well-used with the LCD being slightly faded but still legible.
    Secondly:

A slightly used DW-6900 about 8/10 condition, all functions working fine.
One of the quintessential classic Gs I must say.
It was a good day at the flea-mart indeed

Excellent finds I wish we had flea markets like that around here.

If you haven't already, be sure to take that 9000 apart and give it a good scrub with a toothbrush. It'll come out a treat!

    Thx for the advice guys!
The 6900 is pretty clean but the 9000 obviously needs some cleaning underneath the bezel. If it turns out quite different I should take an 'after' pic of it n post it here

    Hi Lee,

Congratulations with your great finds. The DW-6900 is indeed a basic need in every G-Shock collection IMHO. The cleaned DW-9000S looks very great! I must remind this method too. Thansk DJ,

    Cheers,

All nice and sparkly. You can tell it's actually green now.

Could I see a picture of your strap, so I can compare? Is the buckle a standard or a double like mine? I don't like my double buckle and am looking for alternatives.
