Cracked Screen - Need Advice on Repair

    Hey guys!
Whats up? Just signed up for the forum. I currently own a GSHOCK GWM-5600A-7 and love it. Unfornately one of my freinds is an idiot. I was telling him how it can absorb shocks and threw it at the ground to demonstrate. The idiot picked it up and smashed it on the hard floor as hard as he possible could, and lo and behold, the screen cracked :( :( :(

The screen on the top is fine, as is the rest of the watch and its functions, but the screen underneath is cracked all over. I was wondering how , or IF this can be fixed. Its not covered under the warranty, and I don't know who to contact to get it fixed, or how much it would cost me. If it take it to any watch repair shop could they fix it?

Also on a side note, I just bought a GW6900 from nywatchstore.com for only $80!! Was this a good deal? It's not going to be fake is it?

Thank you for your help in advance!

No, most 'watch repair shops' will have a tough time fixing your mistake.

If you bought it, it was a great deal. (Amazon have them going for 120 odd usd currently)

It was my absolute pleasure...I will need to replace a worn out Google button, but anything .... for the assistance of others.

Yes actually I am from Canada. Ill admit it was dumb and I was really angry at the time since I love the watch. Now I just want to get it fixed hopefully It wont cost too much. The problem is finding out a repair center in Toronto. I just wanted some idea on how much this would cost.

Keith has the black case w/ glass in stock.

    Tools & Watch Accessories - GW-M5600 Cas from Tiktox.com

Send him an email and ask if he can get hold of the white one for you. He can usually source most stuff.

Of course, this advice will only work out if I've understood correctly what part of the watch is damaged.

I Googled "How hard do I need to throw something to equal a fall from 10m" and what I got as the third result was "20 quotes from Atheists" - strange!

Anyway, sorry to hear of your plight but on a cold and wet day here in the UK your tale of woe did make me chuckle - sounded a bit like a scene that could have been in Dumb & Dumber!
