    Cult of Frogs

    G-Shock Frogman - AskMen

There's something strangely compelling about Frogs: ugly by convention and yet attractive at the same time; designed to be tough and practical and yet impractical in various aspects of its design. Is there anyone who has bought a Frog, kept it and not bought or at least having considered buying another?

    Regards, Kat

I have only one. This one arrived today. Favorite color combo ever; blue and grey. I have been eyeballing them for some time but held off due to cost. Now, in the back of my mind sits the thought of the GWF-1000 since it is now stateside. I may need to sell of most of my collection to do it though. LOL.

Thanks, I like this one very much and have admired it from afar for some time. I know there must be several out there. But they hardly ever show up on the forum.

But I like having different watches. I like my cheap DB-E30 all the way up to this one.

    Re: Cult of Frogs

BTW, Does anyone know if the DW-8200BK resin would still be good after all these years if it is bought NOS? I would not want to buy it and have it not last long.

I want to get a set of black resin for down the road or even change it out now to save the MIMC resin. I know I can buy the GF8250-9 resin and dye it. I heard it takes black real good. I believe Tsip85 has done some yellow resin dye jobs that turned out good. Has anyone else dyed the GF-8250 resin. Oh, I did see a Kermit green job that looked good.

I played around with my new watch tonight and stripped off the resin, that bezel is a snug son of a gun.
