    Current value DW6600?

Any thoughts on what a DW6600 circa 1995 in very good but lightly used condition is worth these days? No G on the backlight.

    thanks

Go to ebay and look at existing/sold/completed auctions to get an idea.

Nothing much there on eBay for original versions. There are subsequent versions, pieces for parts, modified pieces, and pieces that have been restored. Thats what I'm asking - for an original, unmolested, correct, and working example. Based on whats there though Im guessing $150 +?

    Re: Current value DW6600?

Again, from the link I posted before:

    Hi dear members,
since I had to delete quite a number of sale-related posts or even WTB (want to buy) posts in the last couple of days - let me quote the forum rules here:
    4. No sales posts or "Want to Buy / Trade" posts of any kind. All such posts will be immediately deleted. There are Sales Corners at Watchuseek for this express purpose. If you have a special offer you would like to make directly to forum members, email the moderator(s) first to discuss it.

All sale related posts will be deleted without notification from now on. If you see that a post or thread has "vanished" - read the rules and try to figure out which one you broke. About 99% of the time it is not a software glitch when a post is gone.

Other posts that will be treated as sales posts:
Evaluations of the following kind: "I have watch XYZ and wanna know what it's worth as I'm thinking about selling it."
Questions like this: "I have a green Rangeman - will they go up in price? Should I keep it or sell it now?"
"I'm thinking about buying watch XYZ - should I sell watch ZXY to finance it?"
etc, etc - I think you get the idea

If you feel it worth $150+, then price it that way. There might me someone who like the watch as well as the price you put on it.

Put it up for sale at your minimum price plus eBay and PayPal fees, and let the bidding declare the value.

If you are looking to buy, hunt and be patient. But there are few that are factory fresh, as any DW-6900 band and bezel will fit and you will never know the difference.

    Re: Current value DW6600?

The DW-6600 is an ubiquitous model. So many of them were produced. I expect very few people are even aware of the different versions... only which ones were made in Japan, vs. Korea, vs. Thailand, vs. China.

There's a vintage one that's currently up with a $89.99 BIN and Best Offer option from Singapore ($10 shipped to USA). It's in OK condition, but definitely has signs of wear. It has 12 watchers on it, which suggests some definite interest. Try listing yours for $99.95 with Best Offer option.

I think that enough for a sales evaluation thread.
I will not delete it but i stop it here.

You see no pictures in my post?
Photobucket decided to lock my pics behind a 40$/month prescription service.
I used their services since 2009 so the most of my old threads have Photobucket pics inside.
If you stumble across one of those threads and want to see the pic, PM me and i will re-attach it.
What can we learn from all the lost information?
