    Decided to paint my 6900MS

So, got this little number in today

Decided it needed a little paint. Went out and bought some acrylic set because I wanted to do more than orange, and I recall comments about using acrylic for its properties.

This is what I ended up with!

White and grey on the button was easy, the lettering at the top, not so much. It kept sticking to the paint in the lettering, taking it with it :(

Oh well, I like how it turned out, might do some different guts/dial though...

You might want to try some Testors flat enamel paint for the colors. The flat actually matches the texture of factory G Shock lettering and I find the excess cleans off easier with just a little dab of thinner on a smooth rag. Also the little bottles are inexpensive and entire color kits can be purchased for around $10 (US).

Good looking out! I actually did pass by some Testors at the store, not sure if there was a kit there though...wouldn't be hard to find though for sure. Thanks!

Interesting concept! Go get one XD
I'd work a deal with you on this one but I just got it, and I'm digging the paint I laid down ;)
