I had the 2000T for a while. It's a fantastic watch! Slim profile, clean dial, tons of functions, and you can easily change the strap or put it on a nato. My only wish was that the crystal should be a little better protected. Congrats on the purchase!

I have it. Like that you can put other straps on. The module is the best for my need (dual time w 24 hr CDT). But I still have to get use to the shiny ring. I wish Protrek lines have more design choices like G-Shock.

If you expect a fancy looking digital watch with a few gadgets, your expectations may be fullfilled. If you expect a serious ABC tool, your expectations may will fail big time.

Congrats, I just bought a ProTrek also. I wanted the 2000 but I always scratch up exposed crystals, so I got it's brother. Looking forward to a new toy with some different things to play with while I am on a week long scout camp with my son this summer.

I love mine. I have the PRG-200, which is the same minus the atomic sync feature of the PRW-2000. Many pics of mine (including on a leather strap) are here, while the reason why it's perfect for me and my city breaks is here
The Search function on vBulletin forums isn't very smart. If you want to search for a complete string in the G-Shock forum, or for posts which include multiple words, use Google, and enter site:forums.watchuseek.com/f17 into the search box. Then use normal google syntax after that to enter your search.

well,it arrived today.....great watch and spot on with my other baro/temp watches.just checked with the net and the readings are close as can be .all in all a great watch( a little big for my skinny wrists ) but i can just about pull it off.here it is with my gdf-100.same size from lug to lug,but due to the bigger face on the prw..it appears to be a bigger watch

From what you wrote, you don't seem to be very impressed with your new Protrek.
    Have a great day!
