didnt take them long - gpw2000 fakes

saw this pop up on a local selling site
the likeness for a fake isnt the worse ive seen but the display and quality of the mould and materials really give it away :poo:

How can you gauge the quality of materials from those pictures?

Luckily it's the sort of watch that's unaffordable for me, so I wouldn't even look at one, fake or not

Incredibile the low cost can have a watch, because a company cannot spend a lot of money to replay a G-Shock...
I suppose the industrial cost for a top level of original G-Shock is low for Casio also, investments also can reduce the margin but I'm sure it is a great business for Casio... Better than low price massive models....
The best Casio G-Shock is the next one...

Are these clones fully functional otherwise?

Must confess, it looks absolutely genuine to me! That tin, the instructions. that cardboard outer - one of the most thorough 'fakes' I've ever seen. I'd have bought it...

Lots of them lately mate...all with boxes, tins manuals...the add ons look legit but the watches are...offf...the dial on that one is what stood out to me at first, the digits too small and unfinished, off dials/display, the markers not solid and thick..I'm still learning but some of them have nearly got me in past! Lol

LOL, you see, that is how they make their money! I'm not familiar with that model, and 100s of folk like me would just assume it's a 'G Shock'! Now, show me a fake of one of the G Shock models I actually own, and I could spot a dodgy one at a 100m!
