    Hello checking the internet for frogman ....

    Whats the differnece between 1000 modell and the 8250

    Size, shape, 8250 not available in atomic. Both are heavy stainless steel cased watches.

    To me, the 1000 series looks better and feels more solid.

    I am with you on the solid feel about the 1000, but I think 8250 looks more elegant.
    1000 is too much of a tank for me; the design of the bezel is a bit too busy, and has a rugged tactical look about it. It reminds me more about an army armour vehicle
    where as the 8200/8250 looks has a more minimalist bezel which goes well with the exposed titanium/stainless steel case. It looks more naval submarine-like to me.
    But that's just my very subjective opinion :)
    the built-quality and attention to details of the 1000 series is very impressive though; a different species of beast from the 8250 I feel

    To me the 8250 series is a mixture of the 200 series (for bezel) and 1000 series (for the moon/tide graph). The 1000 series just appeals to me as you said about the details of it and I also preferred the larger size of the 1000 series because I like big watches.
