    Display on the G7710

I used to have a GW5600BCJ-1 and I really liked the negative display but I sold it because it was so hard to see in certain lighting situations. How visible is the display on the G7710 with it's adjustable contrast? Does this feature make it any easier to see?

    Re: Display on the G7710

the display is VERY easy to read even under sub-optimal light conditions. in my opinion it's even better to read than the negative display of the GW-810BXD and this watch was my favorite in that matter until I got the G-7710. I have set the contrast level on mine to "3", so it is not even fully enganged ("7" is the highest possible)

a great stealth factor, combined with great legibility and one of the best modules ever made, I highly recommend it

EDIT: I just made a wristshot with mine. please note, that there was no other lightsource in the room than my computer screen and a bit rest of daylight. no flash was used, also I didn't enhanced the pic in some way, nor did I use "nightmode" or something similar. this is just as straight as possible, how the camera catched it up:

I'm assuming you mean the negative display 7710s. That I do not know. The contrast on the regular displays seems to have little effect however, I think it's a benefit on the negatives.

I know I can use a marker / paint etc. to change the bezel lettering color but does anyone know where to buy a factory colored bezel like above....not necessarily green but any color?

Tiktox.com or pacparts.com are great places to try besides ebay and yahoo japan.
