    Do face protectors work?

    Hi,

Considering one for my new GW5600j. Does the native bezel provide enough protection for the crystal? What has been your experience?

    tnx.

I find the protectors do a great job of protecting the bezel - crystal is already pretty well shrouded by the bezel.

But, who cares? They just look neat

Of course the crystal and bezel is protected better.
And so is the dirt below the protector.

The face protector also creates marks on the bezel resin.
I currently rethinking my position every week and take the protectors off/on....

They're like "bullbars", or whatever they're called on those ghastly "off-road" cars. Fashion accessories, nothing more. They add something aesthetically, but let's not pretend they have any practical purpose.

I haven't thought it like this..maybe this is the reason Casio don't include them in the package or preinstalled..they don't have a practical meaning...

Actually, I have a grill guard on my Blazer. It has been great. Use it to mount auxiliary lights, have used it when pushing vehicles. And, it looks good!. Worth it to me.
