Do you guys use a watch case for travel or storage?

Ive seen some previous posts about this topic but could not find them. I have my watches in a large glass display case but I was thinking of getting one of those camera type padded cases for short term storage or travel.

What do you guys use for using on a road trip or short travel when you want to take more than a couple?

    hi,

I rarely travel with more than 3. I put them in socks and then the socks in my hand luggage. I always 'declare' them to customs in case they suspect something fishy.

    Cheers,

I use a pelican case a small one that fits in my back pack. I can put up to five watches in it and it holds them securely.

My Pathfinder came with a nice case that I use when I travel with more than one watch.

    You want a Pelican case.

I love the lengths we will go to in order to protect our tough watches.

G-Shocks, I just throw them in my carry-on bag, or strap them to the outside of the bag.

Watches with metal bracelets get put into a zippered watch wallet that'll hold a watch on each side, and one in the middle.

Yes! You and Tyler Durden say exactly as I have been researching! I was on the Pelican site a few times today trying to figure out what size I'll be needing. I don't plan on storing more than five watches in there. I see that the 1170 size seems about right for my needs.

What do you think? What size do you have, G Hound? Have any pics to share?

Originally I was using a cylindrical hard foam case that was used to store a speaker made for iPods, iPhones. Same idea as what you are using It was only good for one watch though. It was from Altec Lansing.

Do all Pathfinders come with that case? Nice!
