Does anyone know if they're planning a GW-2300?

I saw someone mention that they were "looking forward to" a GW-2300 in the coming months, although it may have just been speculation.
Either way, this could be a great watch if they're planning it.

I am waiting for some wrist shots of this new model I love the G2300 but not happy with its display. It lacks the crisp look of newer displays.

Yes, unless Casio has updated the clarity of the display, they are probably wasting their time putting new lipstick on a dead horse especially so for that reverse display model.

    RRP is $35000 Yen....for a GW-2300 model? Come on Casio...it ain't exactly what you'd call a "killer model"

The price difference between the G-2300 and GW-2300 is exactly double!

I would have never expected atomic reception was that much worth, what say you guys?

Or are they trying to sell us again that classic "DLC treated" story...?

Huh, there you go. I didn't even notice the 'W'. So it's just the same module but with atomic?

Nah, not worth the huge mark up...I'm lucky if I get reception in a dust storm.

The price appears for the Japanese market.

If the watch gets released in the US, expect to see the prices slashed by about 40% - 50%.

Take a look at what happened to the price of the GW-6900, the GW-9200 (Riseman) and the GW-9000 (Mudman) when they were released in the US.

For example, Seiya has the Riseman for $258.00 at this time and Top One International has it for $136.00.

Yep...that seems like the usual discount once they become established in the US market.

Question is, when will that be?
