Does New Mudman 9300-1JF show both Fahrenheit and Celsius?

I am almost positive I saw the answer to this, but I just could not find it.

Just wanted to know if the new Mudman 9300-1JF shows the temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius?

Thank you for the help!! :)

I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure it can't do imperial units - so far none of the "JF"-versions did. If it gets an international release that will probably be different but the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) versions AFAIK never show imperial units.

I'll have to check my (GW)9300 Mudman...I can't remember whether it has Fahrenheit or not, I thought I remembered it lets you change units, but I could be thinking of my Riseman.

I find the imperial/metric thing a little amusing, because here in the UK we've switched over to metric, at least for temperatures... and of course the imperial system originates from the Brits. The Americans haven't budged on the Imperial units :)

The G-9300 at least is only metric.

My new G9300 let's you toggle between F & C both in the setting mode, I chose F on mine.

The new Mudman (GW-9300-1JF) will display the temperature in Fahrenheit as well as Celsius.

    Source.

Ah, good to know. I always wondered why Casio downgrade their modules for the Japanese market. There is also an awkward "feature" (some might call it a bug) on other models - when you select "TYO" as city-code then you can no longer toggle between metric and imperial but it's metric only .

The JDM GW-9300 certainly can do imperial units, it is set that way on mine. It's the JDM Riseman that is metric only.

Checked mine (G-9300-1DVR) and yep, I can use Fahrenheit too, so I stand corrected.

Very odd indeed. I can understand back in the day when world travel wasn't pervasive, but Japanese businessmen and tourists travel all over the world these days. Certainly including multiple measurement types would be useful. But that "trick" of forcing measurements in metric when TYO is selected... wow! Talk about "you MUST do it THIS way."
