    Downgrade??? King Gshock to GW-5610

I am letting go of my pre loved King G56-1A as I received my new acquisition today... A GW-5610.

I am just not wearing the king as much due to its bulkiness and I am using it more as a bedside alarm clock, lol.

Not a downgrade at all. Congrats on the 5610.

Thanks!! I feel it is an upgrade in functionality and wearability... Just downgrade in size lol

The positive display makes it every bit worthwhile.

I agree.. The negative display on the king was a novelty feature which wore out as time went by.

The King is just too big for those of us with small wrists and with limited functionality. Although squares are somewhat small, they don't feel small on wrist and more importantly on the 5610, it has a module that is more functional.

My wrist is 19 cm and I like them both.

Sometimes King feels too bulky, sometimes 5610 feels to small, but it is nice to have both of them.

    LOL

You are making the right decision (IMO). The original size and its subsequent iterations work for a reason ...They are practical and they are elegant. They are by no means a lesser watch, they are understated. And good choice, BTW
