Seeing recent posts on DST daylight saving time/ST summer time, if any of you are slightly O-C about making sure all your world time cities on your Gs are properly set to DST/ST (some cities observe this convention, others do not), I've found a couple of websites to provide this info. Also, don't forget that some of the world cities that are included in our Gs are not within range of an atomic time signal, so they may have to be set for DST manually anyway.
The World Clock Timezones site shows (most) world cities and whether they observe DST or not: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
This website http://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/airport_code.htm shows the IATA 3-letter airport codes that Casio uses for its world time cities: (who the heck knows that YAE=Edmonton, PPG=Pogo Pogo, RGN=Yangon, Myranmar, GUM=Guam, JED=King Abdulaziz Int'l Airport, Saudi Arabia?????), unless of course you're a commercial pilot or a world-traveling jet-setter. And yes, my new Gulfman has all the above (and many more) city listings in its worldtime function.
Anyhow, hope these links are helpful to some of you out there.
Cheers from YAE (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.)
