    LOL,
I could never be a real G Shock collector. I just don't get the draw to watches with stuff in the backlight that just makes it even more difficult to read the time in the dark!

    Hi Gawain,

It's not an original DW-002RS-1. It more looks like a DW-8040 (or DW-8050) equipped with the EL design of the Rolling Stones model.

Here you have mine (as posted a few weeks ago on my blog). The watchband is great too. The Rolling Stones series also had one model with the head of a guitar and one with a skull. This one is IMHO the nicest:

It was released July 1994, so not easy to find I'm afraid anymore.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Awesome Sjors..... thanks for posting that! I think I've seen everything on your website, then I get surprised..

I am enjoying the research and discovery I've experienced hunting for pictures of all the g-shocks...

I'm glad you are around to help me out.

    Thanks Sjors

    Hi Gawain,

When I started my website, I thought a sub section music would be nice. Now the DJ Spooky of the Silver Collection and my Rolling Stones G are hidden behind that name. I was about to change that and spread them into their real series name (Tough Label, G'Mix, etc), but I seem not to be able to move some G's to a proper place.... And still the "Hip Hop Old School" and "Hip Hop New School" would again be hidden behind another series....

    Cheers,

    Sjors
