Off Topic post DW-5000 Honda F1 follow up $$$$$$$

The auction of the DW-5000 F1 on Yahoo JP was finished yesterday. According to Dive-frogger this is another record for a vintage G-Shock. According to him was the last recors ¥340K ($3400) for a WW-5100.

I think the watch is sold for about my complete anual G-Shock budget in a year.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Astonishing amount of money... but if you're a true collector it's probably worth EVERY penny...

Funny how money matters little if you REALLY and I mean REALLY want something...

    Re: DW-5000 Honda F1 follow up $$$$$$$

I'm not entirely surprised, especially since, as Sjors mentioned in an earlier post, this would appear to be the first collaboration G-Shock, and quite rare. Compared to the recent WW-5100C-9 and the DW-5000C-1B that sold for USD$5000 a few years back this would seem to be fairly reasonable.

    Cheers, Greg
