    DW-5600 Hydro Thread

    hello

perhaps my idea of creating a extreme G will fail, but i will start now with this project:

after the sucsessfull results with an old dw-8050 i decided to modificate a dw-5600 and see if this watch really will be that tough i want.

this will be the official prototype DW-5600 "Hydro"-thread.

here i will continuosly post rewiews about the reliability of this watch...i hope they will be a long future for this watch and concept.

so here are the first pics of it, the first day of my

I like your thoughts on this as it looks great

Did you ever think about modifying a solar G-Shock like the tough as nails G2300 seires that way you don't have to remove the back cover at all for batt changes??
    Good work
    Cheers

you are right , i was thinking about that, but i want to do a endurance test before and see how the modules are working...i'm confident with this project.

do you get less reflection off the screen that way?

battery change will be a work out though

yes they are less reflections now.

it's not a real problem to change the battery, simply put out the module and after changing the battery reffilling the watch with oil.

Awesome project Angelo. One thing though. I have read that liquid filled wathces need to be stored in some sort of pressure controlled container during a flight..is this true??

    that's good for business

customers have to and can only come back to you for service

but actually that's the main reason i didn't get any watches from Sinn (http://www.sinn.de/) though i like what they are offering

they have oil filled case, Argon gas filled case, de-humidifying capsule, all are great ideas but also means that i can only go back to them for service

no, no...i'm not a buisness man....and this is really not a professional solution, it's 100% homework by my self...it's really not a big thing.

sinn watches are professional high-tech timepieces...and i have no idea which oils they does use and how they does fill his watches, perhaps they use an other more sofisticatet system, not that amateur watchfilliog like i doe.
