    Question DW-6100 Display Question

I just received my first DW 6100 in the mail today. It has cleaned up very well & a new battery has it's heart pumping once again. I have a question on the graphic display for daylight. All the information I have been able to find shows the daylight time as clear & the time between sunset & sunrise shaded in. After resetting all the functions & verifying that everything is right, I noticed that my display only shows a line for the current time, a line for sunset time & a line for sunrise. I tried it in 12 & 24 hour time format & no change. I can't see anything in the downloaded instruction sheet that tells me anything about changing that display, so I'm here to ask the experts: is this something that's adjustable? I did the "AC" when I put the new battery in & made sure that the spring was put back in during reassembly. Everything works as the instructions say it should except the display. Were there different models? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Depends on the module.

The 1414 shows single lines for sun up & down, while the 974 shows nighttime as a shaded zone. At least that's how mine work

Which module is in your watch?

    1) In normal time press adjust to set time. Press mode to advance In the hour digit, press light to change 12/24hr

    2) Press adjust again. Now you need your global position and GMT (see in any map)

3)After insert the data of latitude and longitude and GMT, press adjust

    Re: DW-6100 Display Question

Got to say thanks to this thread I have now correctly set my DW6100.
I should have made a note as to where in the world it was set but it sure as hell wasn't the UK...I definately bought this from the UK so previous owner possibly wasn't the first

Damned fiddly to set as it times out as you are looking for the information needed, next time I will print the PDF first

Interesting as to how the bar graph actually displays, it is all down to the interval points you set, though if you have not a lot of temperature fluctuation then the graph is going to stay pretty static regardless of the interval points. At least the sunrise/sunset is set correctly now as well.

I do have to say that knowing which display is the timekeeping mode isn't that clear, as although the time may be displayed but you have to remove the digital readout of the temperature (switching it to date mode) or else you go into a different setting mode
