is a Dw-6400 a good first vintage G-shock to buy?

I am not keen on the new g-shocks but I love the old 1990s Gs. I can pick up a good condition DW-6400 for £20, it has a none original strap but has had a new battery fitted. Do people think this is a good buy?

    Thanks

 My mistake, should not browse Ebay after doing 4 hours of CCNA coursework, it tends to baffle the brain and warp the eyes!!

I got a few replacement straps for mine from Tiktox about a year ago. Somehow the strap retainers (band loops or whatever they are called) seem to vaporize around this time. I have three of the four replaced, as also are those of my DW-8140 Techno's.

    Cheers,

    Sjors
