I'm waiting for all my parts for an upcoming case swap and stealth project of the 6900. Thank you so much for the photos of the "naked" 6900! Now I can much easier visualize what's underneath the covers.

Unlikely, I would have thought, due to the resistance of the oil on the hands.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I would say give it a try. The hands are thin and I do not think the oil would provide much resistance as the hand are very think. Use 80 weight oil as it is not as thick as others. Just my opinon.

what about changing the battery on this beautiful G-shock...
it's possible to do by yourself or it is needed to send the watch in a specialized center?

    A very good question...

I think you would have to do it yourself with some spare oil to hand.

I wear a DW-6900 series when I ski, on the outside of my jacket. It makes it much easier to tell the time without having to fiddle around with my jacket, gloves, sweater sleeves, etc.
