    DW-6900vsDW-5600

okay fso im 14 and i have owned two DW-6900 the first one i got in 2005 and it broke the summer of 2010 and i got another one so my little brother has a DW-5600 and i really like it and ijust wanted to know if it could handle the same amount of shock keep in mind that i beat the hell out of my watches i also owned a G2900F-1V but broke it two weeks later at school on acsident and so i demmed it not as strong as the dw6900 and i had to use its band on my new dw6900 because i broke the band as in clasp and the thing that holds the strap down so i was just wondering if the dw5600 is as strong in every way that the dw6900 is
also at the top of the page there is a dw6900 with the bull bars were would i get one of the thoese or is there a dw5600 with bull bars and if wo were would i get one

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm surprised that you've been able to do as much damage as you describe to a DW-6900. Be sure you've got an authentic G-Shock -- there are a lot of fakes out there!

That said, I think most here would agree that the DW-5600 is every bit as tough as the DW-6900. I don't think you should have any fears on that score.

I don't beat my watches up but I'd say just going on size that the 5600 would stand up better than a 6900. Smaller so not quite as easy to bash on objects and damage that way.
