    DW5600 Question

    Hi everyone,
I am thinking about getting a DW5600 as my first G-shock.
However there are quite a few variation of DW5600 and
I wasn't sure which one to get.
Can anyone tell me what the most popular model is?
    Cheers.

    Don

The DW-5600E-1V is the standard and most popular model. Cheapest too!
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

What tribe said; that's the one to get. Noone should be without one.

    I love the 5-series.
    A classic G-Shock!

    Re: DW5600 Question

I've got a DW5600e and a GW5600J. For cost and feature set it's hard to beat the 5600E. However, I'm glad I've got the 5600J and it is the one I wear most often. Radio controlled time set, solar power, it's drunks dream.

    Re: DW5600 Question

I have the DW-5600E and the DW-5600C models. The DW-5600C is my first G-Shock, used it for more than 15 years and still do. Bought the DW-5600E also, use the backlight often at night and in the dark and the DW-5600E has a better backlight than the DW-5600C. DW-5600E is now the standard model of the series and is a good start.

    Re: DW5600 Question

I got dw-5000, dw-5200, dw-5300, dw-5400, dw-5600c, dw-5600e and dw-5700 and if you are like the classic ones like me then the dw-5600e would be good choice to start on g-shocks and easy to see in dark and my first was dw-5600c in 1987 and the light was'nt good as the dw-5600e and on dw-5300 that it came out 1994 and it was use to the gap on dw but still they did'nt make dw-5100 cause the second and fourth was ww-5100 and ww-5300 and those came out 11 1983 and 12 1984.
