    DW5600C-9B question

I have seen several of the yellow DW5600C-9B for sale lately on ebay and I am interested. My question is are the two black pieces on the strap how they came originally from Casio. Sorry I don't know what they are called. Out of curiosity I also checked over at Sjors site and his yellow DW5600C-9B also has them. If they are then original then the next question becomes WHY are they original if you were Casio and you were making a yellow watch wouldn't you make those two small pieces on the strap yellow as well? Maybe it is just me but IMO that would match better and look much better as well.

    Re: DW5600C-9B question

So if I understand correctly they used both at different periods? I found a pic at Sjors to show what I mean since I don't know the exact name of the two pieces. Notice the two black parts, again is this normal for a otherwise yellow watch?

It's normal as far as I know. All my yellow bands for that model have the black band keeper and the black buckle. I've also seen pictures of the yellow band with a black band keeper and the silver buckle.

    Cheers, Greg

    Re: DW5600C-9B question

They had few different same models as dw-5600c-1 and dw-5600c-1v are black in june of 1987 and dw-5600c-9bv came out june 1987 and it's an yellow watch and dw-5600c-9cv and it came out june 1987 and it's black and gold version and then dw-5600b-3v an green watch and it came out november 1991 and then dw-5600c-9b and it's an yellow watch and then dw-5600d-1 and it came out december 1992 with black and gold version and i guess why yellow watchband are with black buckle cause they don't make yellow buckle anymore and i got one yellow buckle from an dw-6600 yellow case and it showed after time it change color little darker.
