    Dyed my PRG-40, opinions?

Finished dying it last night, overall i'm pretty pleased with the results, despite cocking up the bezel

Still needs a bit of tidying up on the bezel, but here's a q&d shot to see what you think........

    Hi Rusty,

Personally I like the orange button, but your PRG-40 looks very neat. I think you may call it a MIB model, it has the same color scheme. How did you dye the green and purple parts? Also RIT dye?

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Good job! You got it looking very "Tacticool" now!

Though I have to say I personally prefer the original look better. A little touch of orange here and there always works like magic on a black case.

It looks like a serious bit of kit, I like it. Does the bezel just snap off?

I like it, how about some luminous paint for the lettering?

I'll dismantle it again and take some more photos for you guys, either tomorrow or Monday. It really is a doddle to dismantle though.

I thought maybe i'd gone too far with it at first, but it's starting to grow on me now. Even the bezzle which i seriously managed to bork is growing on me
