Dying a g shock "white rising"

Just wondering if anyone has dyed one of the "white rising" g shocks a different colour? Is it possible to dye a white strap black using rit dye?

    Thanks

the Rising White does not have the shiney coating so it should take the color ok. I really like it white but it will discolor over time.

I though I could find a photo of a Rising White in the standard black bezel and strap. I did find buzzes mod of the Ocean Grey.

If your looking for black I would just order a new bezel strap. no problems that way

er, dude !!!!! leave the Rising White alone. dye it when its really really dirty and no longer white. if u just want it black, just buy a extra black bezel and band for less than $15 shipped from Casio.....if they have it in stock.

gentlemen...as usuall , very informative and thank you for your responses.

i think im going to leave my "white rising " alone.just wish i could get a black bezel for it.

cannot understand how casio produces the alternative black bezel for the dw 5600 , but not for the dw 5700.both have been re-issues,both are also 25th anni models...yet no dw 5700 black bezel

does anyone have any idea where to get one?

thanks again for all the info
