Dying plastic and resin in a G-shock?

Quick Q for the modders. Had good luck dying resin bands and bezels using clothing dye. Have one watch i'm looking to dye on which part of the bezel and buttin pushers are made from hard plastic. will these 'take' the dye? I'm guessing not but would be interested to know if anyone has actually tried it...

I would say it depends on the original color. Dying with a darker color is OK but make it brighter isn't possible.

I dye some G's look it here:

After daily use my G-9000 Mudman is now brighter
