EDC and G (An EDC show and tell)

    Hey Friendos!

Seeing a lot of cool pics via the G Shock and Mulit-tool and other threads. Thought it might be cool to see some "pocket dumps" to see what else you cool people carry while you sport your G's on your wrist.

    I'll start this ball rolling...

    - pic removed by Admin due to rule violation -

Got my trusty Swiss Army knives and a Kershaw Funxion Outdoor with assisted open and a stubby saw blade as well.

iphone 6 Plus in a Magpul Field Case (seriously the best "cheap" case you can get)

    A Parker Jotter.

Burt's Bees, I have like twenty of these darn things. Every time I see it at the store I think, "I need some of this!" and then I buy another tube.

And then my Fossil Passport wallet that I don't carry a passport in, but there is a tiny Moleskine in there.

All that on top of a Staples "ARC" folio that I'm carrying while I'm on the job hunt with resumés and note paper.

Pretty simple setup, I have been known to carry a lot more (I used to have a Maxpedition Fatboy bag with almost 20lbs of crap in it). Look forward to seeing what y'all got!

Oh and I almost forgot to mention the Frogman, it's been getting basically exclusive wrist time the last couple of weeks, even in interviews, if someone thinks it's a silly plastic watch I probably don't wanna work there anyway LOL.

Re: EDC and G (An EDC show and tell)

I like the topic, but, most of the time members got carried away and show off their weapons - I personally like and admire weapons but not in this forum -

1/ the world is pretty much peaceful everywhere I've been, be it Vancouver, BC or Oakland, California, showing off weapons here makes readers think it's not

2/ next thing you know, people start talking about weapons, and losing focus on the topic at hand, which is Gshock and EDC

I don't care about other bs written as RULES above the forum, this how I truly feel

    thanks

You're way OT already. I'm sorry, I categorically disagree with you. If you carry a pistol everyday and it's not verboten on this forum, let's see em'. The world is not mostly peaceful and the parts that are are kept that way by men with guns.

Hugs to you, G-Fob, I understand that you feel the way you feel, but we're clearly on opposite sides of this one. Have a great one!

I specifically mentioned those. This isn't the same, but I appreciate you letting me know.

My Casio Ravine 2 phone... can't go anywhere without a phone these days
Whatever Casio watch I happen to wear that day. Today happens to be the G9000 mudman I just bought!
    $0.25 generic tiny composition book
Mesograaf vernier caliper pen with Fisher cartridge
    cheap $5 sunglasses
Tyvek "Mighty Wallet" in circuit livery
my keys... including my "swiss army keychain", and a "utilikey" that unfolds into a small knife, and a screwdriver
and then there's my trusty old iPod Classic... Gotta love it!

I don't have much "fancy" EDC stuff like some people, but certain things that I really want, like that pen, and my watches, I go out of my way to spend a bit of extra money on.

    I LOVE your jelly frogman!

And that even has my car key on it, too!
No unlock fob to take up space, no smart-chip in the key, it's just a flat metal bit like all other normal keys... One of the perks of driving a 1997 chevy blazer haha

I bought the iPod freshman year of high school... in 2006... it's still tickin'! I never want to replace it. I am running short on space, though, so I am going to replace the hard drive soon with a 125-gigabyte unit that has been proven to work.

Re: EDC and G (An EDC show and tell)

I appreciate the information. Seems like I'm not the one who brought it up, to be fair. I also submit that a knife is not a weapon but a tool. Rest assured that I am reviewing the rules now.
