Off topic Ever play with LEGO blocks?

My son and I visited a local museum to see these creations made 100% of LEGO blocks, the colors reminded me of the various "G's" posted daily!

Very very very cool! Where is this museum? I used to love playing with legos, but I hated it even more when I stepped on them.

Very cool! Those 3D structures are very good too. If you have an iPhone, be sure to download LEGO Photo. Those portraits were probably composed with similar sofware.

    Cheers,

    Superb - love the Dino'!

Played with the stuff every day (literally) from when I was 6 to 10 - easily pleased way back then! I used to have this obsession with building tall Lego towers!

Played a lot with it when I was 9-12 something and me too everyday,my parents had to yell me to bed. Not too many colors and variety back then,it was mostly blue, red and yellow bricks, but it was sooooooo cool. I was pretty good at it too, loved building houses with nice landscaping and power boats.

Re: Ever play with LEGO blocks?

My daughter's just started to enjoy Lego, so I've been playing with it a lot lately. Occasionally I let her build something too.

Good excuse to dig out my old Technic Lego-I had a car with a working boxer engine, 3 speed manual gearbox, and IRS.

This got me thinking about the Lego I had, so I had a Google. Anyway, I came across this:

See here for full details. A pneumatically powered V8 Lego engine. Amazing.

Oh wow. You've just made me search, and found that I owned and built one of these when I was, er, very young

I probably still have every block from every set I had as a kid in a very big box somewhere. There were a lot!
The Search function on vBulletin forums isn't very smart. If you want to search for a complete string in the G-Shock forum, or for posts which include multiple words, use Google, and enter site:forums.watchuseek.com/f17 into the search box. Then use normal google syntax after that to enter your search.
