Lightbulb Extra links for a Casio dw-8900 (Mr G)...?

I was hoping that someone could help my DW-8900 see the light of day again by helping me find an extra link, or two, for the bracelet.

It's been gathering dust for far too long and over the years my wrists seem to have expanded somehow!

Anybody know where I can get my hands on a few extra links?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

This is the main issue with the early mrg's. Lot's of used watches available on auction sites, but bracelet sizes are small. Once in a rare while a bracelet link pops up but not often and when the do, they're 15-20 bucks. One option is to find the cheapest, dead battery mrg100 you can and use it for parts.

Thanks Fergfour... I thought as much... the search continues. Any idea where to find a dead one?

Try Yahoo! Japan. If I'm not mistaken the DW 8900 is SS, so any MRG 100 or 110 will have the same bracelet. Ideally you can find a working one with a long bracelet, then you'd have 2 classic watches that work/fit :) It's possible the MRG 120 bracelet is the same but I don't have one of those to verify (working on it!). I'm sure other folks here could verify. Good luck.

Good to hear regabob and good luck on the bidding! If you only need a few links for your 8900 and have anything leftover please pm me. I'm always looking for extras.
