I have recently bought an used Casio Oceanus S1000 a.k.a. MANTA.
I bought it at a great price around u$100 but it had a problem: the chronometer second hand is set to +6 seconds as the 60 second position. I knew it from the beginning, but it is just driving me mad. Not only that, but this very hand is responsible for pointing the time zone you are in, the radio synching status, world time... Everything is off because the second hand is off.
Moreover I am not sure I am able to set the corrective and date on the perpetual calendar.
Given this scenario, I would love to check if it is possible to reset the watch to it factory setting hoping to get the hands aligned properly and start from scratch. Does anyone know (i) a procedure to make this happen and (ii) if it would fix the hand's misalignment problem.
Thanks in advance!
