Im pretty happy with them. Some simple resin swaps, some painting even a little dye job too in there...I think what I love about G-Shocks the best is the ability to be creative, mix and match and really make your watch feel like your own.
Not the greatest of pics, so bear with me...
First my custom G6900CC, did up the bezel letters and G button, gave her a red keeper too:
Next up is my Burning Red 7900, I just felt like seeing how the white would play off the black and red:
I consider my 7900CD to be one of my favs, but I had a spare bezel around so I removed the paint and went with yellow bezel letters. I love the look and feel of this watch, I kinda went the same way with my 8250 and kinda made them brothers. I like the scheme, similar to Dolphin/Whale GW204K
And now the Frog, I took and extra bezel I had, dyed it black, then painted the letters.
My buddy wanted his 9052 to have a bit more color, originally it was a 1-b so I painted all the lettering here, plus the little grooves above the buttons AND my first attempt at painting the buttons themselves - still trying to work out some logistics on that but at least it meets what the client wanted...
Thanks for looking, I hope to have more to share in the future. Thanks to Tsip and Kung for answering my dying and dis assembly questions, although it didnt go quite according to plan, I learned something and glad I gave it a try.
