    A Few Random Bumblebee Shots

Lots of folks have picked one of these up. So there's nothing novel here.

I had worried about the yellow being too shiny (as opposed to, for example, the Yellow Raysman which is a main "go to" summer weekend watch for me). But I ultimately couldn't resist and got one recently, second hand, from a forum member. I'm finding I don't have a problem with the glossy finish at all. The yellow is dark enough that the gloss does not overwhelm you or make the watch feel too jewelry like. It is as appropriate (or as inappropriate!) as my much loved Yellow Raysman.

Cool watch, Kronos. But it looks more orange than yellow to me -- is that accurate?

We need to be careful because different monitors, digi cams, etc. can have a fairly wide variation in hues.

On my computer, the color that comes up is pretty accurate. The Bumblebee is not orange at all, but it is not a pale yellow either. It leans a bit toward the "mustard" "taxicab" yellow end of the spectrum.

    Hi Kronos,

I see you answered the first question that came to my mind too. Nice yellow G. I slightly prefer more the GA-110(A, B) look. Are you going to take Bumblebee downtown for a photoshoot?

    Cheers,

    Sjors
There are only 10 kind of people. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

You remind me that I haven't worn my GA-110A-9JF that much recently. Another great summer watch. If I had to pick between them (I'm happy I don't -- at least not for the moment!), I think I'd pick the GA-100. I like its slightly more understated look (to the extent that any yellow watch can be called understated!)

I should take shots of both of them downtown.....
