A few technical questions about Protreks

Would it be possible to change the duration from the standard 1 or 3 seconds to something longer? How would that be done if it is possible?

Brings up the other question of could a person reprogram their casio protrek to whatever they wanted or add features to it that weren't present before or to have a V2 sensor module be stuck into the case of a V3 and have the sensor connected?

Assuming you're talking about the back light duration, the answer is no. You're limited to the settings allowed in the watch.

Again no. Reprogramming is not possible as it's a fixed hardware design. V3's hardware was redesigned to be smaller than V2's, so a case for V3 likely won't fit a V2 hardware inside.

All of the above is assuming you're talking about the traditional digital or analog-digital Protrek models. However, Casio also offers smart watch models of Protrek. Features for those are partly driven by apps, so may offer some flexibility for customization.

I would imagine that the answer to both your questions is no.

For general public, answer is no. If you are handy enough to say entirely re-wire the inside, that’s another story.
