Finally! At last, I've lost my G-Shock virginity!

After what must be a decade of admiring from afar, I finally purchased my Mission Impossible 3 special edition 910D after work. The jewellers couldn't alter the strap so there were numerous trips to the watch specialist in another part of the shopping centre until I felt comfortable. Trouble is, I went a little overboard with the links removal and think I'm now suffering from a sprained wrist!O|

First thing tomorrow, return trip to have a link put back in! I never seem to get bracelet sizing right first time!

Love the watch - it's very modern, hi-tech and gadgety! I'm very impressed with the build quality. I like this watch so much, I'm semi-tempted to purchase another, just in case I wear this one out (very unlikely, I know). At this moment in time, I'm not sure how long the model will be available in the UK.

In terms of M:I-3 packaging, the watch comes in a branded outer box. Apart from that, everything seems relatively standard (the watch came in a round tin). Good job I knew about the packaging as the assistant insisted it came in a normal box and it was only after my insistance that the correct packaging was dug up from the back of the storeroom. After that, there was another search when I pointed out that instructions would be useful!

In about half an hour I'll be auto-updating the time from the atomic signal at Rugby. Superb.

Great to have finally purchased a G. It's been too long a wait.

No - hopefully, I'll take some pics at weekend. I also need to find a picture hosting site and then I'll ensure some pics are displayed.

You bet! I'm kicking myself for leaving it all this time! I feel like I've picked the right model to begin with, the 910D really appeals to me. Must admit, though, the UK model wasn't cheap. The RRP over here is £149! I've seen the US all-black 910Ds for half this price (excluding shipping and taxes). Having said this, I think it's excellent value for money.

Just hoping I don't damage myself or the bracelet before I make it to the jewellers for the extra link!

despite of the title, luckily this thread is pretty child and work safe

you can simply adjust the bracelet using a spring bar removal tool (if you don't already have one, you should )

please take pic for us soon, and i mean DETAILED pic of everything!
