Cool FIP notice from e-bay? What the hell?

Now when I have used e-bay for the first time and my Watch might be coming tomorrow then I get this in my in-box Is it real or just spam do you think?

    "Dear eBay Member,
We regret to inform you that your eBay account will be suspended due
to concerns we have for the safety and integrity of the eBay community.

"Abusing eBay" of the eBay User Agreement states, in part:
"..we may limit, suspend, or terminate our service and user accounts,
prohibit access to our website, remove hosted content, and take
technical and legal steps to keep users off the Site if we think that they are
creating problems, possible legal liabilities, or acting inconsistently
with the letter or spirit of our policies."

Due to the suspension of this account, please be advised you are
prohibited from using eBay in any way. This includes the registering of a new
    account.

To avoide this suspension please login into you account and follow the instructions:
    https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...d=siteid=0page
(Do not click this link if it is spam)
Please note that any seller fees due to eBay will immediately become
due and payable. eBay will charge any amounts you have not previously
disputed to the billing method currently on file.

Thanks for your patience as we work together to protect your service.
    Regards,"

    Hi Jo -

    It's a fake email

    Delete them

Rule of thunb, NEVER log into your EBay or Pay Pal account from an email

ALWAYS open the correct website with the correct address, make sure the little yellow padlock is on the bottom right of your browserB-)

    I get the fakes weekly

It's a shame but it seems alot of us have gotten that same stupid message. Delete it. Don't open it! Don't waste your time informing EBay because they already know that these trash messages are being sent to members.

I've gotten the message you received three times. Ignore it. As Oz said, EBay will never ask for financial information in an email.
    Best regards,

NEVER (niverrrrrr....) reply to them. And don't worry, either (I know, because I DID, but I DON't no more!)

Got a fake PayPal notice a few weeks ago requiring that I verify my credit card and bank information.

    Same thing...DELETE IT

The pity is that some people fall prey to the thieves.

    Greetings All,
I believe we had a warning about things such as this from Ernie Romers (about such a "Phishing" scheme like this one).

Well wishes to those poor unfortunate Nigerian Exiles (or whatever the story is...)

    DEFINITELY A SCAM!

I send them to eBay. It probably won't slow them down, but I feel better. I have added "spoof ebay" as a contact, as I get them so much.
