First G, the DW6900NB-7, will it discolour in the swimming pool?

As the title says, I recently took delivery of my first G Shock, the white 'Eminem' 6900. I go swimming most days for a mile or two, and my question is will the choline in the pool discolour the nice glossy white finish of the watch at all?

I know G's are supposed to be built to withstand most things, but thought I'd better ask before I ruin a brand new watch.

    Thanks.

It should be alright. I own several G Shocks and I've never experienced any discoloration. But, I don't use it in the water most days. Only one way to find out!

chlorine and certainly the ocean ...suggestion and rightly so is to clean/wash the watches off immediate after to prevent issues. I like to use a little bit of my Dr bronners castille liquid soaps tea tree or peppermint let them soak in my bath room sink for a little bit.

cleans them and gives them a nice scent...... g luck

The pool won't hurt your G. Not a bad idea to rinse it off with clean water afterwards, but not entirely necessary, wither. Just clean it with soap and water once a week or so and you'll be fine. IF you do ever expose it to salt water, rinse with fresh water immediately after.
