    First G. Mudman content.

This watch is a few "firsts" for me: first G Shock, first Casio of any kind for that matter, first all digital watch, and first watch which continually beeps at me. I needed a tougher watch for work, and I knew that most any G would give me the basic features I wanted, but the Mudman stood out because of its size, comfort, and I am not ashamed to say, its looks. This watch looks cool. Here's the proof:

Going to work on day 1.

Maybe a Riseman would have been more appropriate?

Putting the mud/dirt resistance to good use

I haven't had it long enough to give a good review, but the first impressions are very positive. And with most G Shocks being pretty reasonably priced, I can see another model in my future.

    Thanks,
    -Will

KeyGrip, If you ever want to get into the solar/atomic models, Casio has 2 nice mudmen that might interest you:

    GW9000A-1 - G-Shock - Timepiece - Products - CASIO

    GW9010-1 - G-Shock - Timepiece - Products - CASIO

You have now been infected with the G-shock virus for which there is no known cure.
Symptoms include looking at your wrist more than 10x a day, putting your watch on the windowsill at night or during the day, internal struggles between atomic and non-atomic models, and rationalizing/defending the money you spend to family members on what they view as a "plastic watch".
It will multiply uncontrollably. At times it may go into remission, but it lays dormant, biding its time, and at your weakest moments of viewing websites like these, it will raise its ugly (but beautiful) head.
As a carrier, you will spread this virus to others without knowing it, and before long, others will befall to the same fate as you.
Abandon all hope, resistance is futile.

Nice Muddie there. I'm loving my G9000 so much, I'm thinking about getting one or two more in different colors. I'm only a little bummed that it's not solar/atomic but I the looks and features, for me, trump the solar/atomic Mudmen. Here's a shot of mine at work.

By the way, don't be ashamed to say that you chose a watch based on looks. It makes perfect sense. The one thing I do with a watch, more than anything else... I look at it.

I love my Mudman. I've got the red one with white face and negative display. It's the bees knees.

Gotta love the Muddie. I wish it were a little bit bigger, but like them just the same...

You got the best and cheapest Muddie. Best as for being legible
    during the day. And tough.
I have the MS and stopped wearing it during the day.

Congratulations. My G-9000 has been thoroughly tried and tested now, and I think the words 'flying colours' about sums it up.
