    First G-Shock; G-7900A7

Received this G-Shock about 2 months ago now and, despite being very picky about solar-atomic capability, I loved it right away. It was a gift from my cousin and IMO serves as a good introductory module. Already has some yellow staining around the plastic screws however, as Casio does warn that white ones tend to stain easily. Here it is poised with my Nokia BH-505 wireless Bluetooth headphones and a WVA430DJ-1A in the background

Ah, the what I call the "Seersucker" G7900 just in time for summer! Even though it's not solar/atomic, it arguably has a far better module than the GW version (which, by the way, doesn't come in that color) what with the low-temp LCD and the mega-duration, count 'em, two stopwatches.

    Congrats and wear it well.

    And welcome aboard.

IMO one of the best G-Shocks out there - definitely in my top 5.

As Sedi said, certainly in my top 5. Very comfortable, chunky like the old DW 002, has one of the best modules available, and it's matte white!! The perfect G to enjoy until the dirt starts to big you. Then you make it REALLY look good!!!

Thanks guys! And about the GW model, I've heard that it does in fact seem to have a lot of problems ranging from the buttons not responding to the screws around the bezel falling off, so I lucked out by getting this one. The blue wrist cuffs indeed make the watch very comfortable to wear, even when I'm working out and the sweat is pouring; somehow air is able to ventilate through and keep my wrist cool, which is great. Lastly, that navy blue camo-mod looks AMAZING; I'll definitely look into dying it when it gets a few years worth of irreversible staining.
