    First G-Shock

Hello everyone, I would like to say I just purchased my first G-Shock. I bought the GW9200-1 Riseman. Just came in today and I love it! Like anything I buy I did some research on it first. Most of it, coming back to this forum. You guys really have a great community here and I'll be happy to learn from it, and contribute to it.

The reason I got the Riseman is because I am a skier, and I have a house in upstate NY that I frequent. I love the outdoors and live 5 minutes from the beach in NJ so that's a summer way of life for me. I also am a Jeep enthusiast and off-road and work on my vehicles almost as much as I ski.

Well anyway, enough about me. Here's a picture of my new Riseman.

That's the only picture I have for now, but I will take some action shots when I go skiing/offroading. See ya guys around here!

Thanks guys! This watch really is a lot more than I expected. I was just reading through the manual and for something so small it's so complicated. Definitely a lot of features that I'll have to learn to use. Starting with my alarm clock right now.

No unfortunately I have not gotten it to work. It says the last update was September 27th. I was near a window while doing it, maybe I'll try it outside on a clear, sunny day.

That's a great choice - all round solid watch.

Enjoy it and the forum in great health.
