    First G-Shock Dilemma

Here I was already to make the move to get my first G-Shock and the one I really wanted, the GW002KA-3V, is no longer available. I might post a WTB or check Ebay, but in the meantime I've found some other models that tickle my fancy. What's your opinion?

Image #1 GW002KA-3V The one I really wanted
    #2 GW9100-1 Lots of attitude
#3 GW9010-1 Like the touches of red
#4 GW6900A-9 Says "Look at me!"
    #5 G9100-2 Just like it

    I say get the GW-9100-1, GW-6900A-9 and G-9100-2.

    The other two can wait.

    Re: First G-Shock Dilemma

I've had both of the Gulfman, liked the 9100-1 better as it was atomic/solar. Would still have it if the band where a little longer and/or more comfortable. So, I say go with the 9100-1 as long as you're sure it'll be long enough. I think I have a 7-3/4" wrist.

The only other I'd even consider would be the Mudman, others have too many eyes which I dont' care for at all.

Hi ! to be honest, i wouldn't choose any of those models...

I don't know what is the matter with G-Shock designers, but every G-shock watche they design is completly not attractive at all !

The screen is getting smaller and smaller, there are too many sofisticated things to "show off", etc etc

When are they gonna create a great G-shock watche where you don't need to use a microscope to see the digits, where the display is SIMPLE and useful (please stop with those 2 or 3 rounds for the seconds on the top of the watche !)

That's what the iconic 5600 series is for.

As for the watches listed by the OP, I go with the GW-9100. IMO, solar/atomic functionality would be generally more useful than a tide graph and moon phase indicator on the G-9100. Plus the GW-9100's color scheme looks way better.

Sucks to be without a G.

Hi Desk Diver - nice avatar.

The GW-9010 is an under appreciated ugly duckling; I reccomend you give it a whirl :D
