First G-shock under 100 dollars ? Please suggest

This is my first post and surely a noob one.

I am planning to get my first G-shock and these are my requirements:

    1. Alarm - more than one, good sound
    2. Legible
    3. Ruggedness - not a big deal. I am an engineer by profession and I do not expect the watch to be hit by a hammer . A basic G-shock ruggedness will do.
    4. Size - I prefer a g-shock that is not too small.
    5. Budget - under 100 dollars
    6. Features - stop watch

I have shortlisted a few but I would like to get your suggestions !

    Thanks

Another vote for the GD-350. One of the best G's out there for the price. Opinions on negative displays vary, with most experienced members advising against them for an everyday watch, but I've heard that the negative GD350 is one of the most readable. I personally have never seen it in person, I prefer the standard version. It's a great watch that ends up getting alot of wrist time for me, simply due to its sheer functionality.

Do you prefer digital, analog, or ana-digi? Black or other color options? Something with buttons easily pushed while wearing gloves? There are A LOT that meet the specs you listed. Try to narrow it down a bit more. Most have been talked about at some point around here. If you find one that tickles your fancy, search the model number, and it may yield some info. Welcome and good luck!

As good as it gets, if you don't like the negative display on the GD-350, then you might as well give up on negative displays. I however would probably choose the positive display if this is going to be your everything watch, and it will do that nicely.

    Thanks for your response.

    1. I prefer digital
    2. Any color works for me
    3. I use the watch with bare hands. So I prefer the ones with buttons that are easy to push. Thats the reason I did not go with G9000.

Buttons on the GD-350 are also the easiest to push on any of my G-Shocks, so there again it comes up on top.
