    First gold tone DW-5600 :) ....

Hi All - Just got this one in. The DW-5600C-9CV and for $75 . The resin is aftermarket but as soon as it arrived I had the correct Casio replacement 141-F9 straps (w/ gold tone buckle) to put on. I am just awaiting a gold letter Casio Bezel coming from Japan. Actually that bezel cost me more than the watch hehe. The seller also sold me a G-5700 for $85 also near mint condition. I know the battery issues with the module from this model and couldn't pass it up as I really got a GREAT deal on the 5600 as the module is near mint. The DW-5600C-9CV is the second gold tone 5600C made and came out in Oct.'90 per the 5600C link here. Thanks for looking -Ronbo https://forums.watchuseek.com/f43/dw-...de-448768.html

Congratulations Ronbo you really seem quite happy.

After work today I pick up my gold .br bezel to put on to my 5600C-9V, yes the 'first gold model' you allude to in your post and take a group photo with my 5600C-9CV.
I bought my 9CV last year for about $120 with original bezel. I didn't really mean to buy it, i sort of got into a bidding war with another guy on ebay and did it more out of spite, but later I realize it was actually a great deal.
The 5600C-9V I got on ebay more recently, only $60, I am surprized there wasn't much interest in it. Maybe because it was only listed as a 5600C.
Anyway, I will post a pic here later today if you don't mind.

I will also cherish this moment to see you posting a WRUW shot with the today's date.

    5600C-9CV blessings to you.

VERY COOL !! Ya gotta love finding these illusive late model 5600C's!! It seems like everyone goes for the early models from the '80's. I think it is harder to find a later model gold version or even the non black resin versions from the early '90's. Cheers -Ronbo

    I agree.
Those coloured ones are the most hardest. However, I am not bothering to get the yellow resin models- the only difference is the yellow resin.
At least the blue, green and marble versions have differences in the modules e.g. coloured borders, 200m/20bar etc.
Even if I cant get the coloured bezels, I still think the modules are worth collecting

    DW5600C-9V & DW5600C-9CV

Just got back from the post office with the br bezel ( can you pick which is the Brazil?)
The gold bezel screws were welded in there, I tried hot water, but in the end brute force was the answer to slip the bezel over the top.

These gold 5600C's are stunning models, and thanks to Ronbo for posting this timely thread, and I hope he doesn't mind, but I can really feel his excitement and interest when you get one of these beauties.

VERY cool !! I am still looking for the earlier Gold 5600C-9C myself (Brazil bezel :)? I was lucky to find a guy in Japan who was willing to part with an unused gold letter Casio bezel for my latest. Cheers -Ronbo

I can see these two being on my shopping list when I've given myself my 2 month holiday from Yahoo.co.jp/FromJapan (2 weeks into cold-turkey at present).
